11 Jul Public Bid Opportunity – Veterans Housing Renovation in Willsboro
The Essex County Land Bank and North Country Rural Development Coalition (NRDC) are accepting bids for the full renovation of a historic property located at 445 S Mountain View Drive, Willsboro, NY. The structure, once home to WWI veteran Sgt. Harry Wever, will be transformed into three ADA-compliant, energy-efficient rental units to serve veterans in the Adirondack region.
The project includes demolition, structural and roofing work, full electrical and plumbing upgrades, environmental remediation, and interior and exterior rehabilitation. All work must comply with NYS Building Code, MWBE, Section 3, and Fair Housing standards.
